Research has shown that the most important factor in therapy is the therapeutic alliance, or plainly put, the relationship between the client and the therapist. It is this kind of relationship in counselling that has been identified as the fundamental catalyst to facilitate and enhance wellness, change and growth. This, in addition to the tools used from such modalities as CBT, DBT, EFT, etc. that can help individuals to experience change, growth and increased well being.
